Dr. Giannobile is the A. Lee Loomis, Jr. Professor of Oral Medicine, Infection, and Immunity at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, and an internationally recognized leader in periodontology and oral regenerative medicine. He earned his DDS and MS from the University of Missouri and completed his certificate in periodontology and Doctor of Medical Sciences at Harvard. His NIH-funded research spans tissue engineering and precision medicine, with more than 300 publications, and he received the 2024 ADA Gold Medal for Excellence in Dental Research.
